While on course, you may have the opportunity to trail some of Africa’s Big Five like Buffalo, Rhino, and Leopard. Sleeping out under the African stars is a highlight, but be warned, sleep is rarely a priority.
Colin Patrick, an accredited FGASA trainer and assessor, conducts and oversees all courses. As a field guide, he holds the elite “Scout” qualification and serves as a senior tracker and external evaluator with over 20 years of experience in the African wildlife tracking and conservation industry. Colin leads the passionate Moholoholo team, committed to teaching and sharing their invaluable knowledge.

Course Venue
All training takes place on the Moholoholo Game Reserve, situated at the foot of the mighty Drakensberg in the Lowveld region of Limpopo, South Africa.
Participants stay in comfortable thatched chalets with en suite bathrooms, including a shower, toilet, and washbasin.
