MOHOLOHOLO WILDLIFE REHABILITATION CENTRE IN HOEDSPRUIT
Moholoholo Wildlife and Rehabilitation Centre NPC is based near Hoedspruit in Limpopo. We rescue and rehabilitate injured, poisoned and orphaned wildlife, with release as the goal wherever possible.
Public educational tours introduce visitors to the realities of wildlife conservation, rehabilitation and human-wildlife conflict. Moholoholo also offers eco-accommodation, conservation courses, a student volunteer programme and educational visits for schools.
Wildlife Rescue, Rehabilitation and Education
Moholoholo provides care for wild animals affected by injury, poisoning, displacement and human-wildlife conflict. Each case is assessed according to the animal’s welfare and its prospects for rehabilitation and release.
Where release is not possible, long-term care decisions are made responsibly and with the animal’s needs first. Through public tours and educational programmes, the centre also helps visitors understand the pressures facing wildlife in South Africa.

Junior Wildlife
Moholoholo is proud of its contribution to educating today’s youth in a fun and friendly environment. We offer tailor-made packages to suit school groups of up to 80 learners, where they can participate in a wide range of conservation activities.

Situated on the banks of the Blyde River and hidden under lush trees, surrounded by beautifully kept lawns.
