Moholoholo wedding venue tariffs are designed to provide flexibility for couples planning a meaningful ceremony in a natural setting. The venue includes on-site wedding venue accommodation for up to 32 guests, ideal for families and close friends. A range of wedding packages and services is available, including use of the riverside tea garden and function hall. As one of the region’s few wedding chapel venues set within a conservation environment, Ya Mati offers a peaceful and memorable location for your special day.
WEDDING VENUE TARIFFS
- All prices includes: tables (180 on round tables), 150 conference chairs & 40 wooden chairs
- Marquee Tent or Restaurant (max 110 people in restaurant).
- Use of braai area at restaurant for Friday @ R 1500 (extra)
- Venue hire up to 24h00 an additional fee is payable for every hour after 24h00

HIRE OF CHAPEL
Tariffs:
- Fridays & Saturdays up to 150 guests: R 4500 (not in peak season – please phone for more info) including Sundays
- Mondays to Thursdays: R 1500
50% Deposit must be paid within 2 weeks to confirm a date. If we do not receive the deposit within the 2 week period the date will be open for other bookings - Prices include cleaning of venue before and after function.
- Price includes the candles in chapel.
- Bride must provide kneeling cushion.
Full payment must be received 14 days before wedding, we will not be able to go ahead with arrangements if we have not received full payment.
Cancellation:
In case of a cancellation you will lose the full deposit.
White chair covers @ R16-00.

Menus includes:
- Setting of tables, all cutlery, glasses & crockery, tablecloths & serviettes (white) & ice water.
- Ya Mati is responsible for the catering, no food from outside will be allowed
- If we need to work out a special menu there will be additional costs per person
- NO LEFT OVER FOOD WILL BE GIVEN AS TAKE A WAYS
R 3000 Deposit must be paid for tablecloths and breakages and will be refunded after the wedding if we do not have any damaged.
Waitresses must be hires at an additional cost (minimum of 7 hours) R 55 per hour

BAR
- Corkage fee of R 65 per wine & champagne bottle.
- The bar and venue closes at 24h00 every hour after that you will have to pay R 1200 extra per hour
Ya Mati can provide you with fire wood at additional cost.

Public holidays, long weekends, Sundays and 31 December will be charged as Saturdays. On a long weekend where there are 2 days extra to the weekend then whole of Ya Mati must be booked for 3 nights (Easter weekend) If you have any questions, please ask our office. On any other long weekends and 31 December we have min of 2 night bookings in all chalets.
