Bushbaby

The three young bushbabies that came to us in March have been successfully released.

Their journey started after 2 of them were sadly attacked by cats and the other unfortunately fell from his nest. After a week or so we put them all together in a large cage and they instantly loved each others company. During the day they would find the smallest and strangest of places for all 3 of them to fit into and sleep, then as soon as the sun started to set they would slowly emerge one head at a time from their bed and start bouncing from one side to other showing off their impressive skills.

During their last week with us we got them used to a small box that was taken to the release site in order to provide a safe and familiar place for them to call home until they were comfortable enough to explore their new surroundings or come back to if they ever struggle to find shelter. We hope they have a very bright future!
